ReplyDeleteI just viewed your video and I have a few thoughts:
1) The content was great but the presentation can be improved. Starting with the colors. Colors are important and powerful and can generate certain responses. What type of response do you want from your audience? Your answer will determine the type of color you should use. The background needs to be changed..maybe brighter color?? Also the color of your shirt is bland. Maybe you can change one or the other to create a livelier atmosphere.
2) Your facial expressions did not seem genuine at times. The smiles seemed forced as opposed to natural. Speaking from someone who is not a natural smiler..unless I am laughing or something funny is being said, smiling doesn't come easy for me as it does for others. A slight adjustment will help to make the presentation more plausible.
3) The video seemed to skip at times. Not sure of the technical term.
4) Maybe you can mention the Oprah appearance at another time during the video instead of upfront. Instead I suggest that initially, you can mention examples of successful businesses that were created and/or thrived during economic downturns and/or list the types of businesses that remain in demand during economic downturns.
5) Step #2 seemed to go on too long. Again, the content of your presentation is invaluable, you just may need to be a little more concise in this type of forum.
